The Belk Department Store in Greenville, S.C., located at the very busy Haywood Mall, was completed throughout multiple phases while the store remained open. This exterior renovation project’s primary basis was to install new waterproofing at the exterior walls of the first floor which extend 20 feet below grade. Major excavations took place to gain access to these areas while new vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns were created and maintained throughout each phase of work. In addition to waterproofing, our team performed a complete exterior facelift including new EIFS and vestibules, fresh landscaping, and pavement upgrades.
